Zlatan included in Manchester united's UCL squad
The Sweden born international has been surprisingly included in the squad for the group stage matches of the UCL.
The tall striker who’s still recuperating from an injury, is added alongside young player, Wilson, who has been drafted into Mourinho’s plans and handed the number 29 shirt, despite not having played for the club since the 2015-16 season.
Another surprise is that of estranged Chelsea striker, Diego Costa who has been left out of the 25 man squad for the UCL group stage, the Spanish striker who hasn’t featured at all for the blues this season is still at Brazil after a deal failed to materialize.
Liverpool have decided to omit Nathaniel Clyne, Lazar Markovic and Danny ings, but have included Phillipe Coutinho.
Manchester city don’t have a surprise omission after including both Eliaquim Mangala and Fabian Delph, same as Barcelona who included both Thomas vermalean and Arda Turan, Borussia Dortmund left out Marco Reus who’s lacking match fitness and summer signing Sancho.
The squad can’t be changed until after the group stages,The opening round of group-stage matches takes place on September 12 and 13.
