Manchester united gets Marcos Rojo boost
Manchester united’s defender, Marcos Rojo is back in training and featured for 45 minutes of United U-23 side.
Marcos Rojo has stepped up recovery from an ACL damage sustained about 7 months ago, the Argentine hasn’t features in a competitive match on 209 days but had a 45 minutes cameo for the U-23 side on Wednesday night.
Rojo featured in United’s Premier League International Cup clash with Athletic Bilbao in Leigh before being replaced at the break, Rojo’s injury was sustained in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final win over Anderlecht on April 20, the same game in which Zlatan Ibrahimovic sustained an identical injury and has stopped both of them from playing any match.
Rojo could feature at least one more time for the U-23 side before getting into the first team again, the center back was a regular in Mourinho’s first year in charge featuring 41 times for the Red devils.
