Manchester united extends Ibrahimovic contract
The Sweden international extends his contract for an extra year, months from being released.
He confirmed the extension on twitter on Thursday with a picture;
Manchester United have taken something of a risk signing Ibrahimovic as he still has some way to go in his recovery and there is no guarantee he will ever return to his best.
The former Barcelona and PSG striker who netted 28 times in 46 matches for Manchester united in the 2016/2017 season showed he could still perform at top level.
The Swede forward will likely play from the bench if he returns from his injury, with Manchester united already purchasing Romelu Lukaku for 75m€ and Rashford and Martial probably ahead him in the pecking order.
But Ibrahimovic could still be a huge asset ashis finishing has not deserted him, and he is one of the most experienced players in the game.
