Didier Drogba praises Mohammed Salah for leading Egypt to world cup
Ivory coast and Chelsea’s legend Didier Drogba has some words of praise for the Egypt star.
Egypt hadn’t qualified since 1990, even before Salah was born but he did guide them to one.
The Liverpool player scored the first goal for Egypt before it was cancelled out by Congo’s Arnold Bouka Moutou with three minutes in regular time, but Salah held on until the final moments to score a penalty which ensured Egypt broke the 28 years World cup qualification barrier.
Egypt has qualified for 3 world cups prior to Russia 2018, but are yet to win a match in the events, after the match, former teammate of Salah, Drogba had words of praise for him as he took to twitter to celebrate him.
