After the shock suspension of the elections slated for today, Saturday February 16th until 23rd of February 2019, Nigerians have taken their frustration out on Twitter.
Former Ekiti State Governor, Fayose had earlier predicted this would happen in a bid by APC to rig the election.
Most called for the INEC chairman’s resignation while others felt the ruling party ‘APC’ had something to do with the postponed election, see reactions below;

The most surprising part of the postponement is that Sahara and some very few people tweeted exactly that the election was postponed to one week time. How accurate. #NigeriaDesides2019

I feel for the ones whose matrimony would be kicked out by INEC on the new Election day
I feel for each corp member whose life is at risk

This Mahmood Yakubu is a failure right from day one. Postponing election on the day of election…. What a country? Why is God not even doing anything yet na? He should just strike all these old men already… @inecnigeria#Elections2019#NigeriaDesides2019

INEC had 4 years to prepare for this election, they have been inconsistent with other elections within these years… This is shameful.

INEC you had 4 good years to prepare for this election. You subjected Corpers to this harsh cold weather. They slept on the bare floor. No proper arrangements were made.
But you still postponed election after all these stress by corps members.#ThisIsNigeria#NigeriaDecides2019 pic.twitter.com/pTCoRjzmjK

Dear @inecnigeria, You have not only disgraced this office but the entire country and with this level of unprofessionsliam and unpreparedness, how can we guarantee the credibility of any results? #NigeriaDecides2019

INEC said logistics. "Logistsics" is one of the most fraudulently ambiguous words in the Nigerian lexicon. Like love, it covers a multitude of sins.#NigeriaDecides2019

What is the status of voting materials that have been moved already across the country? Is there a way to guarantee the safety of those items in their current locations nationwide for the next one week? Isn't this too much of a risk to credible elections? #NigeriaDecides2019
