PSG might face Liverpool in empty stadium

Europe’s football governing body UEFA are set to release disciplinary action against PSG ahead of their upcoming home game against Liverpool, at the Pace des princes, on November 28.

According to a L’Equipe report, the Ligue 1 champions are now in the black books of Europe’s football arbiters following ugly scenes during PSG 6-1 win over Red Star.

The report further revealed that if PSG are forced to play behind closed doors, it will likely after their progress to the next round of the UEFA Champions League.

The team that finishes top expects an easier draw in the next round of the competitions.

At the moment, UEFA are yet to complete their investigation, but L’Equipe claims a final decision will be made by UEFA on November 22.

Until then, the report suggests no one knows whether it will be a suspended sentence, a partial stadium closure, or a full stadium shutdown which means PSG would be forced to host Liverpool in front of an empty stand.
