Liberia president George Weah declares public universities tuition free
Liberians will now have the capacity to go to state funded colleges in the nation for nothing after the president George Weah announced them educational cost free.
Weah made the declaration amid a visit to the College of Freetown, and on his Facebook page.
“Today, I’m excited to announce that I have declared the University of Liberia and all other Public Universities in Liberia tuition free for all undergraduates.”
Students rejoiced after he made the announcement, as the move will apply to all undergraduates.
